Agent updates are automatically downloaded and appear in the Add Agent - Build a Setup File option and in the Agent Versions section of the Management Console. We recommend deploying a new version to a test device before deploying it to all devices.   

New agent software is downloaded to your Cerebral Server in your VeriatoData\Downloads folder.

Recording Updates (Browser, Chat, Email)

  1. Added full support for recording Google Chrome activity.
  2. Added support for recording Microsoft Edge activity.
  3. Added support for recording Mozilla Firefox activity.
  4. Added support for recording Opera activity.

Enhancements

  • Support for OS 10: The agent is verified for installation and recording support on Android OS 10.
  • Support for OS 11: The agent is verified for installation and recording support on Android OS 11.
  • Deployment from Google Playstore: Customers who prefer to deploy software from Google can configure Microsoft Intune to manage Android devices and the Veriato Agent deployment. Note: This deployment method limits the agent recording capability to Document Activity, Geofencing, and Website Activity.
  • Hiding the app icon: Customers who prefer to hide the Veriato Agent app icon can set up an Android Work profile for OS 10 and 11 devices (this is not necessary for OS 9 and earlier).

Improvements

  1. Agent Check-in: The agent now checks in (sends a heartbeat) to the Cerebral Server to update the Management Console status.
  2. No Chromium installation required: The requirement for installing a standalone Chromium.apk component is deprecated. As of this version, only the Veriato.apk provided in the Veriato Data > Downloads folder is required.
