Overview
When attempting to play back screenshot recordings in the Veriato Cerebral Dashboard, you may encounter the following error:
System.TimeZoneNotFoundException: The time zone ID 'Time as Recorded' was not found on the local computer. This error occurs when the Global Criteria setting is set to Time as Recorded and the local machine does not recognize that identifier.
Steps to resolve
- In the Veriato Cerebral Dashboard, navigate to Global Criteria.
- Change the value from Time as Recorded to Local (this computer).
- Load the screenshot events. They should now display without error.
- Once you have reviewed the screenshots, you can toggle Global Criteria back to Time as Recorded if needed.
Why this happens
The Time as Recorded option relies on a time zone identifier that may not be present on all machines. Switching to Local (this computer) forces the Dashboard to use the local system time zone, which resolves the lookup failure.
