When Behavior Analytics data capture mode is enabled, UBA meta-data is uploaded and analyzed for Risk Scores, Behavioral Groups, and Anomaly Alerts. You probably won't be aware of the background analysis until a user triggers an email alert.
If you do not enable Activity Detail mode, no detailed data or screenshots appear.
However, as soon as Activity Detail capture mode is enabled, up to 30 days of detailed data are unlocked and uploaded to the server. You can then trace anomalies to activities and view the context.
The algorithms Veriato has implemented for UBA run automatically and learn on their own. Your data remains private and secure. Veriato communicates with your installation only for licensing and update purposes.
