Important: Veriato Investigator will not install to RAM or to a read-only, mapped, compressed, or removable drive. If the setup cannot determine the drive type, the installation will not be allowed.
Projected data storage needs
Recorded data is returned from each recorded device and accumulates in a single storage folder. Disk space used depends on:
- Number of users
- Level of user activity
- Recording settings (frequency of screenshots, where to track document activity, etc.)
- How long you wish to retain data (the default is 180 days - this can be changed)
Example: A month-long investigation of 5 computers may use approximately 7.5 GB.
